If it's still going, I'd love to get the word out about my wonderful 26-year old tenant at 165 Upland Road, who is looking for a one or two-bedroom apartment in the neighborhood. She is currently working at Michael Van Volkenburg landscape architects opposite Hi-Rise on Concord Ave. and loves walking to work from our house. We will be very sorry to see her leave, but my son is moving back to start graduate school. She (and perhaps a friend) would be fabulous house sitters for anyone going on a sabbatical. or great people to have in an apartment in a house. They are very responsible and quiet. Have you lost your cat?

Hi, neighbors, This morning (around 8:40) I came across a beautiful cat on Upland Rd--mewing mournfully and running as if it were lost. I managed to get close enough to pet it and saw no tags, but then it ran off. The cat is on the small side, a brown tabby with those round bullet-type markings on the belly. I saw it cross Upland away from Ruth's house toward Avon Hill and begin working its way down Upland toward Walnut, staying close to the fronts of the houses. I hope its owner can be found!
