I don't have everyone's physical addresses, but Marc McGovern has offered to meet with some of us re the curb cut at 1868 Mass Ave (Gourmet Express). This meeting can hopefully lead to some constructive suggestions re the traffic congestion at that site, on Upland. Mr. Wasserman can build at that site, as of right, according to current zoning, and he has proposed an attractive design, with creative interior parking. So we are not meeting totry to change that. Construction on Mass Ave from Harvard to Porter Square

Maybe some of you would like to see what is/will be happening on Mass Ave at a number of spots from Harvard to Porter Square. The large picture is at Garfield St. and one of the other pics is Exeter Place. Emily Anderson at abodeon is part of our Mass Ave group and a member of the art committee. Attempted Sexual Assault on Richdale

Dear BVP Neighbors, I was at the corner store on Walden tonight (which by the way is vastly improved if you haven't gone there recently) and saw the attached announcement from the Cambridge police. Apparently on Tuesday night a woman walking on Richdale Avenue from the Porter Square T fended off a sexual assault. Really sad to learn that something like this has happened in our neighborhood. It's usually quite peaceful here but in the last year or so there have been what seem like several random incidents of different kinds and alas we have to add this to the list. Tom Burke 11 BVP
