Personally, I don’t want to see Raymond park short changed. There are serious drainage/irrigation issues to be fixed. Not to mention that we have seen beautiful, creative, innovative parks for children everywhere else, while Raymond only gets these issues addressed a some updating. Nothing fancy. In case you don't have enough to worry about in Cambridge, you can look at some of the changes coming to the Elm-Beacon Connector in Somerville! They were unable to provide anyone to attend our June meeting either. So I am including some of the materials provided. I suggest contacting them with feedback if you will be directly impacted by the proposed changes. If you live in Cambridge, I do not know how much they will listen, but worth a try. In case you've been wondering about the *No Parking* signs on & around Richdale Ave saying that there will be no parking the rest of the month, Mon-Fri 7am-5pm, I asked the DPW and learned that: DPW records show that our City contractor DeRoma will be making repairs to curbing and sidewalks. Clearance through Digsafe was also granted to them. > I understand they will be working on handicap ramps in the neighborhood. - Bill Barnert (7 Herbert Street)
