How cool is Cambridge, and not the least because nowhere else would most folks think of this as exciting?

Hello Avon Hill,
I wanted to let you know about a series of tours this July that are going to be incredibly interesting and a uniquely Cambridge opportunity. We are holding our fourth annual archives crawl in July where participants will have the chance to see behind the scenes in twelve archives in Cambridge. This is the largest archives tour in America and shows off some of the amazing collections at Harvard, MIT, the Longfellow House, local non-profits and the city. This is a chance for people to see inside closed stacks and see the material that the archivists want to show off, but is almost never exhibited. It’s a chance to see the coolest stuff you never knew existed and hear about it from the only person in town who knows anything about it. Press release is attached and you can read more about it at www.cambridgearchives.org. Please feel free to pass this information on to anyone you feel would enjoy the tour and, of course, let me know if you have any questions or comments.
