I cannot imagine how tough this would be….

Subject: Elliot is missing

Dear friends,
Our 16-year old son, Elliot, a junior at Somerville High School, is
missing. He left home before daylight yesterday morning on his bike, with a
sleeping bag and his violin. He has a history of depression. He posted
some entries on an online art community suggesting this would his last
posting "for a few months, at least" and included a poem about needing to
break away.
Needless to say we are beside ourselves with worry. The Somerville Police
are working with us, but in an effort to cast as wide a net as possible, we
are sending the attached poster to our friends. If you have ideas for
forwarding it, posting it, or people or organizations we should contact,
please let us know.

Today we will be posting flyers around some of the parks and wooded areas
in Lexington/Bedford that are accessible from the Minuteman Bike Trail,
where Elliot loves to go. See below for other info on some of the paths we
are hoping to cover today.
