Some perennials you could divide and share? Maybe a shrub that no longer fits in, and needs a new home? Even houseplant starters are welcome! Please bring them all! Or maybe you have a bare spot in your yard - or front sidewalk - that you'd like to fill, but you don't have the budget to spend on plants? Come on by and see if your neighbor has just what you're looking for, for free! Join us at the McMath park on Pemberton Street, on Sunday, May 20, from 2 - 4 p.m. The McMath park is a small park on Pemberton Street near the intersection with Haskell St., next to the Don McMath Community Garden along the commuter rail, across from Cambridge Cohousing, and next to the tennis and basketball courts by the Yerxa Street underpass. There is limited street parking on Pemberton St, but the park is easily accessible from either side of the commuter rail, through the underpass. We encourage you to bring and take your plants by hand-held bags, bicycle baskets or garden cart.
