Neighbors,
I am wondering if I am the only one with a complete loss of
phone service via Verizon. In this case it seems that Cambridge Landscaping
took down the lines along with a tree at the back of a house on Upland. I
have never understood why the phone line runs through the backyards on
Cambridge Terrace. Can any of you confirm who else is connected to that
line? It may be that I am the only dummy still using Verizon.
I have already suffered through a week plus of the phones
ringing one time only, no caller id, no answering service, and other weird
stuff, since the 3 electrical outages in less than 24 hrs (compliments of
NSTAR) affecting a few of us up and down Buena Vista and on Cambridge Terrace.
Anybody else have fried equipment, or advice? I have unplugged everything
and tried to isolate the problem, with absolutely no luck.
I am at my wit’s end about now!
