This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a diverse team of contemporary art and design practitioners and professionals during an incredible time of growth and rebranding at the College of Art + Design, Lesley University (former Art Institute of Boston) in Cambridge’s Porter Square neighborhood. The school recently received a $7M gift to expand its Animation + Motion Media program by adding a visual effects (VFX) and 3D motion capture program. The project will allow for the construction of new digital classrooms and studios, a 130-seat screening room, and other work spaces that will support the sister programs in digital filmmaking, illustration and graphic design that will open in June 2018. This gift will help make the College of Art + Design the only New England art school to expand into visual effects (VFX).
