Subject: [PSNA] MIT 'Science Reporter' Looks Back on Pioneering TV Role | Cambridge Community Television
Folks,
I've posted to the CCTV website a story about a pioneering (although now little remembered) television program that MIT and WGBH jointly produced in the 1960s called "MIT Science Reporter"--a forerunner of successors such as "NOVA" and "Scientific American Frontiers." It featured host John Fitch interviewing some of the most prominent figures in science and technology of the mid-20th Century and was produced by Russell Morash, who went on to create programs including "The French Chef" and "This Old House." The story has a link to nine of the "MIT Science Reporter" episodes that are posted on MIT's TechTV website. Please check it out if you can. Thanks,
