Just a little about the importance of this new resource:
Please join us for a special reception in celebration of the College of Art and Design’s new animation and visual effects facilities. The grand opening of this 11,000 square foot facility is the direct result of a remarkable $7 million philanthropic investment in Lesley’s future, making the College of Art and Design the only school in New England to offer a program in Visual Effects (VFX). The new state-of-the-art facilities in University Hall, and associated technical and conceptual workshops in Animation and VFX, are made available to underserved youth at high schools in Cambridge, Somerville and Greater Boston during the academic year through the support of generous foundations.
