Hi,

this is Kathy, at 6 Arlington.

I wanted to let neighbors know that there was a break-in in one of
the basement apartments at 6 Arlington.
The tenant was out of town for 2.5 weeks, so we do not know exactly
when it occured. Entry was through a casement window that had been
left slightly ajar in the rear of our property.  Nothing of value was
taken, I gather because there were no valuables in the apt. The thief
rifled an empty laptop case.

Also note: another neighbor recently had a camera stolen from her
unlocked car on Arlington Street.

Not a huge deal but this is a fairly rare occurance to my knowledge
(I've been on the street since 1979.) Since it is so rare many of us
tend to be a bit lackadaisical on the security front. As I was making
up a notice to go out from our condo association I thought I should
let others know as well.
