Hello PB supporters,
We just kicked off idea collection for the second Participatory Budgeting cycle, so put on your thinking caps and tell us how you would spend $600,000 on capital projects to improve the community!
100 new trees, a public toilet in Central Square, bilingual books for kids learning English, new laptops for the Community Learning Center, 8 bike repair stations, and free public Wi-Fi in 6 outdoor locations won
funding during the
pilot PB process. What would you like to see this time?
We will be collecting ideas through
August 31, 2015. The easiest way to submit an idea is through our interactive online map, but you can also submit ideas to the
City's Budget Office through email, mail, phone, and walk-in.
Interested in seeing where you ideas go? Volunteer as a Budget Delegate! Budget Delegates will take all of the ideas submitted by the community in August and will work
during the fall to research, assess, and prioritize those ideas and determine which ones will be developed into full proposals for the public vote in December 2015. Learn
more and sign up here.
Best,
