In celebration of the 75th season, the Celebrity Series of Boston partnered with British artist Luke Jerram to bring his public piano installation, Play Me I’m Yours: Street Pianos Boston to Boston and Cambridge from Friday, September 27 to Monday, October 14, 2013. Celebrity Series has installed 75 pianos throughout the Boston and Cambridge area to commemorate the anniversary season, bearing the simple instruction, “Play Me, I’m Yours.” Located in public spaces, the pianos are available for any member of the public to play and enjoy.
Reaching over two million people worldwide, 1,000 pianos have now been installed in cities across the globe, from New York to Sydney. The 1,000th worldwide street piano sits on Boston’s City Hall Plaza.
And we have three of them right here in our neighborhood!
 * Lizard Lounge/Hi-Rise on Mass Ave
 * Abodeon
 * Porter Square Shopping Center

So go check them out.  And take a few friends……
