You have to watch this!

Both Karen Klinger (film and story) and Susan Hunziker (soundtrack) did a great job, and are part of the Porter Square Neighborhood Association.  Aren’t we lucky to live in Cambridge?

Subject: [PSNA] Sounds of Musical Sculpture Return at Last to Kendall 'T' Station | Cambridge Community Television

Folks,

I've posted to the CCTV website a video that Susan Hunziker and I produced about a project to restore the Kendall Band, the three-piece musical sculpture in the Kendall "T" station created by noted artist Paul Matisse. It's really a photo essay with a soundtrack Susan created centered on the rededication ceremony held recently when one of the pieces, called "Pythagoras," finally began producing music again after a long refurbishing effort by MIT students. We interviewed Matisse and others involved in the work. This summer, the students are set to begin restoring the other two parts of the sculpture. It was great to see people's reaction when they realized they could make Pythagoras's chimes ring again. Please check it out if you can. Thanks,
