Shop Farmers Markets Safely & Responsibly

Due to COVID-19, farmers markets will be different this year - with masks, new layouts, and social distancing protocols. Markets are required to adhere to the Massachusetts Commissioner of Public Health’s Order outlining mandatory measures to reduce the exposure of shoppers and market employees to COVID-19.

COVID-19 Case Count
A total of 965 Cambridge residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since the coronavirus outbreak began, and there have been 90 confirmed COVID-19 deaths and 177 recoveries in Cambridge residents as of 8:30 p.m. on May 27.

(5/21/20) City officials joined members of the Veterans Services Department, Cambridge Police and Cambridge Fire to place flags at the graves of our fallen. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Memorial Day observances will feature several virtual events and remembrances.

(5/21/20) The City of Cambridge has released an amended Temporary Emergency Construction Order that applies to all construction activity on both public and private property in Cambridge.

Virtual Programming for Cambridge Seniors
|
|
The Cambridge Council on Aging (COA) will continue offering virtual health and wellness classes during the Safer at Home Advisory. Classes include Strength Training, Watercolor Painting, Spanish, Meditation, Zumba, and more. Participants must be 60 years of age or older to enroll in programming.
