Lots of people were there, the barbecue food was great, a nice time had by all. (Alas, Henrietta Davis is shorter than the other speakers were, so in the photo, the mic obscures her face a bit--oh well). The story notes that Jason Weeks of the Cambridge Arts Council talks about the benefit to the community not only of the visual arts center but its role along with Lesley and the Art Institute of Boston in the "development of an arts district in Porter Square."
