FYI, folks.  The Gourmet Express is a great place for breakfast and we meet there to start our morning bike trips, but I’ve also stopped in for coffee or food at other times and it seems like a good neighborhood addition.  Hopefully this sort of thing won’t happen again…

At approximately 11:35 last night, a 21 year old resident of Walden Square was shot once in the buttocks, outside the Gourmet Express at Mass. and Upland. He is being treated at a hospital and wound is not life threatening. At this time the shooting appears to be the result of a dispute over a parking space./rwh
