Hi again Some of you may already know, but I'm relieved to hear our legislature has nixed allowing the facility upgrade needed to carry out shipping ethanol by train through Cambridge. It is expected to pass & be signed by Gov Patrick. There's still a big fight ahead to make such a thing impossible, but step by step it can be done. Bringing it to everyone's attention through media & word of mouth as well as contacting our representatives is a start! Hi there! There's an energy upgrade party at 10am on Saturday at St. James Church in Cambridge, and we could use some extra hands (and are always happy to see some new faces). Please share the following info with whomever you can!
Thanks very much.

St. James energy upgrade party
St. James Church 1991 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge Saturday, June 1 10 am - 2 pm
Learn how to do the tasks that will lower your energy use and bills. A professional mason will teach you how to repair mortar. A professional air-sealer will teach you how to fight drafts. All while we help this historic church lower its energy use to fight climate change. Meet your neighbors and protect the planet. The event is free and lunch is served.
