Saying farewell to summer as we welcome the fall, this FREE family celebration features over 100 chorus members, a charming Revels Children's Chorus, Actors' Shakespeare Project, musician and song leader David Coffin, great guest soloists, a fabulous folk band, the raucus Second Line Social Aid and Pleasure Society Brass Band, sax great Stan Strickland and YOU! We'll sing familiar folksongs and a perhaps few new ones (download the lyrics). Picnics are definately encouraged and, for your comfort, bring a lawn chair or blanket and get ready to enjoy a magical night of music, poetry and song! Before the sing: Join us in Harvard Square's Winthrop Park for family entertainments including stilt walkers & hula hoops, giant butterflies, our "honk" band and a giant puppet-filled parade to the Charles that all can join!
