CALL for MEMORIES of CAMBRIDGE COMMON
I'm a Cambridge artist who is working with the Cambridge Arts Council on a project which will take place on the Common early this coming summer. I am currently gathering stories and memories related to the Common to serve as the source material for my project and am hoping to get as many people as possible to share their stories via a simple online survey.

from the studio of Kelly Sherman
HAVE YOU EVER spent time in the Cambridge Common, the park space in Harvard Square, Massachusetts?
Kelly Sherman is working with Cambridge Arts to celebrate the newly renovated Common, as part of a series of public art projects for Summer 2017, curated by Dina Deitsch. Using her favorite tools of design research to capture and incorporate the perspectives and stories of others, she's inviting the general public to share their personal memories connected to the Cambridge Common.
PARTICIPATE
If you have interesting or meaningful memories connected to the Cambridge Common, please participate! Go to CambridgeCommonProject.com to complete a short survey, which will ask you to describe a person or event associated with the Cambridge Common that has had an impact on your life. You may choose to remain anonymous.
Contributions will inspire a temporary public artwork that will be exhibited on Cambridge Common in Summer 2017. A related exhibition will also be held at Gallery 344, the home of Cambridge Arts, in the City Hall Annex on 344 Broadway in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
SHARE
The goal is to get as wide a range of contributions as possible. I greatly appreciate your help to spread the word.
