            Here are some additional comments about Cambridge CoHousing (CCH for short)—we’ve lived here for nearly 5 years.  CCH is in North Cambridge, located on a quiet street.  We are 10 minutes’ walk from Porter Sq., where there’s both the subway and commuter rail. We’re also 15 minutes’ walk from Davis Sq.  By car, in 10 minutes you can be on route 2-West, and in 20 minutes on route 128.  The neighborhood is economically and ethnically diverse.

 

            About 80 people live in CCH, in 41 units.  Residents’ ages range from 2 to about 85, and there are about 15 children aged under 18.  There are many shared spaces, such as a kitchen, dining and living rooms, library, children’s play rooms, exercise room, recreation room and laundry.  There are shared lawns and gardens.  There are many community events, such as optional shared meals 2-3 times a week
