On Saturday, Sept 28, from 10:30am-4:30pm, Let's Talk About Food will take place on the Plaza at the Harvard Science Center. It's a food-filled interactive day of tasting, discussions, kitchen skills and more. There's a special passport activity for children that invites them to taste their way around the festival. At the event, there will be a station focused on food insecurity. Help us as we tackle a goal of making 1,000 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the Cambridge Weekend Backpack Program. Chat with local agencies doing this work, including Food for Free, Y2Y and the Falcon Market at Cambridge Rindge and Latin. From 10:30am-noon, support the Falcon Market by bringing your donations of vegetable oil, shelf stable milk (boxed), pasta, oatmeal packets, or dried beans.
