DePasquale answered questions from residents about COVID-19, the City’s response to the pandemic, and its impacts on the entire Cambridge community during a 30-minute show produced by 22-Cityview. What's New COVID-19 Case Count A total of 667 Cambridge residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since the coronavirus outbreak began, and there have been 37 confirmed COVID-19 deaths and 76 recoveries in Cambridge residents as of 5:00 p.m. on April 24. · Access information on cases in Massachusetts Mayor's Disaster Relief Fund A total of $3,610,115 has been raised and $341,323 has been distributed to help 256 individuals and families in Cambridge as of 9:45 a.m. on April 24, 2020. · Learn more about how you can donate or apply for funds at cambridgema.gov/mayorsfund · (4/24/20) Cambridge updates Temporary Restrictions on City Public Meetings, City Events, and City Permitted Events Due to COVID-19 through May 31, 2020 · (4/24/20) Ask the Mayor and City Manager program to premiere on Friday, April 24 at 7:00 p.m. on 22-Cityview where they answer questions submitted by residents · (4/24/20) The start of the street cleaning season has been delayed until May 18 · (4/23/20) Cambridge Police to host virtual science fest event this Friday, April 24, at 11:30 a.m. (archived video now available) · (4/23/20) A list of which nonprofit organizations are open/closed and may be offering remote or in-person services is now available. · (4/23/20) Cambridge Police alert residents of increase in online scams · (4/23/20) Nomination paper deadlines for candidates for state district and county offices have been extended by one week · (4/22/20) Emergency childcare programs are being made available to those on a limited basis who have no other option for care during this public health crisis · (4/22/20) Governor Baker signs legislation into law to protect homeowners and tenants from eviction and foreclosure View All Updates Street Cleaning Delayed Until May 18 The start of the street cleaning season has been delayed until May 18.
