has spent most of the last six years locked up and largely unmolested at the corner of Buena Vista Park and Cambridge Terrace. Tonight I found it in this condition:
The wheels were bolted on, so whoever took them had to use a large wrench to get them loose. For six years that apparently daunted potential thieves.
My guess is that this was the work of a kid--a pro wouldn't bother with such a cheap bike--but watch out if you lock up outside in the neighborhood. That goes double if you have the common quick release wheels or seatpost which are much easier to steal.
