View Data What's New COVID-19 Case Count A total of 514 Cambridge residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since the coronavirus outbreak began, and there have been 17 confirmed COVID-19 deaths in Cambridge residents. Download today's cases in Massachusetts Mayor's Disaster Relief Fund A total of $3,441,506 has been raised and $88,308 has been distributed to help 74 individuals and families in Cambridge as of April 17, 2020. Outside Burning Not Permitted in the City The Cambridge Fire Department is asking residents to help prevent fires in our densely populated city by reminding the public that outside burning is not permitted in the City of Cambridge for fire safety reasons. This includes fire pits, chimineas, and the burning of trash, leaves, and other debris. Barbecues for cooking are allowed, as long as they are attended, kept safe, and placed away from combustibles & structures.
