Thank you for attending (or signing up to attend) Stories From the Arab Spring: An Evening of Storytelling and Conversation. Nearly 200 people joined us last night to hear the powerful and thought-provoking stories, performances, and dialogue. I hope you enjoyed the evening with our wonderful community. The event was hosted by: · Dr. Soha Bayoumi - Allston Burr Resident Dean of Kirkland House and Assistant Dean of Harvard College Our storytellers were: · Daniel and Patrick Lazour - Creators of We Live in Cairo · Kal Naga – Egyptian filmmaker, actor, and activist · Hend Nafea – Egyptian human rights advocate and subject of the documentary The Trials of Spring · Fatima Al-Muntafik – Iraqi musician and recent graduate of Middlesex Community College · Lama El-Homaissi – Lebanese musician, actress, and recent graduate of Boston Conservatory o Accompanied by Parisa Shahmir and Jakeim Hart – Actors featured in We Live in Cairo
