Hello there--wouldn't hurt to send this out one last time to the neighborhood folks who pass through Harvard Square regularly and use Kiosk/Plaza in "mundane" but important ways. They may not have been focused on the working group process yet would appreciate opportunity for update and to weigh in.

March 15th at City Hall Annex
Friends of Harvard Square,
In 2017, the City established a Harvard Square Kiosk and Plaza Working Group, composed of residents, business and property owners, representatives from local institutions, and urban design experts, to create a vision for the future use, operation, and governance of the Harvard Square Kiosk and Plaza.
The Working Group process has involved broad public input, from surveys to Call for Ideas submissions, which has provided a broad range of ideas to inform this process. Based on this community feedback and regular meetings, the Working Group has generated a series of preliminary recommendations for the future of this space in the heart of Harvard Square:
Harvard Square Kiosk and Plaza Public Meeting Vision and Preliminary Recommendations: Programming, Use & Operations Wednesday, April 25th CRLS Media Cafeteria, 459 Broadway 6:30 - 8:30 P.M.
Join us to share your input, reactions, and ideas related to the recommendations. Public feedback will be incorporated into the Working Group's final recommendations as it seeks to respect the kiosk's integrity as an historical icon while enhancing the community-focused aspects of the surrounding plaza.
Please share this notice with your Cambridge network. For questions prior to the meeting, contact Daniel Wolf, Neighborhood Planner, atdwolf@cambridgema.gov or 617/349-4618.
