FW: [PSNA] Historical Commission Thursday 12/3

Neighbors, I am in support of the proposed renovation project, which should do a lot to save the historic church and improve the corner at Mass Avenue and Beech Street. The rebuilding of the parish house and community outreach facilities integrated into a 46 unit condo at the car wash/ church site has some of the neighbors up in arms. Those abutters/neighbors are trying to use the landmark status to stop the development, or force serious alterations. In truth, there have already been many amendments made to the original proposal in respect of neighborhood (and the Porter Square Neighborhood Association's) pressure. I will try to be at this meeting, as I have been at the Planning Board meetings, but I have a class that night which is a conflict. If any of you plan to go, and want to speak to me about the background, just let me know. My phone doesn't work however. So email is best, or my cell. Thanks, Ruth Ruth A. Ryals 115 Upland Rd.
