Peg EvansDavis Square • 40 min ago Attempted house entry for robbery. Last night at 1:00 AM a man tried to enter my home through the back door. I was watching TV and heard strange noises at the door and my dog started barking. I got up to check and noticed the door was unlocked. When I went to lock it I saw the screen door had been pulled open for entry and the would-be robber was standing there. I yelled and scared him, so I was able to close and lock the door and heard him walking away. The police came and looked for him on foot, but didn't find him.... So please make sure your house and car are locked every night. Description of person involved – Hair: possibly blond??, Top: maybe a high school jacket, Bottom: didn't notice, Shoes: didn't notice, Age: Very young kid, Build: average, Race: white, Sex: male, Other details: He had a large sack and may have been high.
