Reminder: PSNA Meeting, Thursday June 15 (7-9pm) *Mike O'Brien and Matthew Robayna of Winn Development* will join us for our 1at hour as they seek to re-engage with the city council and community members on a plan for the Walden 2 development. WinnDevelopment is pursuing the construction of two new buildings located at Walden Square. The two new buildings would provide 95 new homes, 100% of which will be affordable to households earning between 30%-80% AMI. The proposal is a revised two-building concept that improves upon a prior single-building concept. The proposal greatly reduces the length of the primary building located along Walden Square Road, while also making improvements to site circulation through the creation of new multimodal paths throughout the site. The project also creates and improves on existing site amenities for current residents, including new playgrounds, long term bike parking, and additional trees. The new buildings will be constructed to Passive House standards. In our second hour, we will discuss PSNA, it's future, what you would like to see us address in our programing (Note: we will shortly begin planning for our City Council Candidates Forum in October) and your thoughts on a summer event, maybe a street fair on Davenport St., with a local art fair or flea market, or any other suggestions.
