Hi Jeff - Could you sent this out to our email list ? This drop-off site is easy to get to and some households may not be participating in the pilot project for the curb-side pickup of food waste that starts in a few weeks. DPW hopes to extend it past May 2nd if it's successful. Thanks - Norma

DPW setup a new drop-off for food scraps for Cambridge residents at St. Peters Field parking lot off of Sherman St (see green arrow on this map link). This is for North Cambridge households outside the curbside compost pilot area. So, please spread the word to family & friends in North Cambridge that want to compost. This drop-off is a pilot program through May 2nd and a partnership with the Human Services Dept. Thanks for always replacing the latch on the lid and helping to keep the area clean and the food scraps toters free from trash.
