I asked is he was a police officer. He said he was not. I asked if he was a member of the Cambridge Police Mutual Aid Society. He said, "In a manner of speaking." I asked "Are you a telemarketer?" He said "No they sell products. I work for the Cambridge police." I said, "The police are a product an essential product for society. A special interest." I asked if he lived in Cambridge. He hung up.

I did not have the opportunity to ask why he was raising money for situations that are already covered by the city taxpayers.
