Judy is a local attorney active in the National Lawyer's Guild and human rights work in Central America. She is looking for Rep. Clark's constituents to join her at the meeting to urge Rep. Clark to sign on as a co-sponsor of HR 5474 which focuses on human rights in Honduras. You may know that Berta Carceres, a human rights activist working on protecting the environment for the indigenous population, was murdered earlier this year for her work. You wouldn't have to say much, just that as a constituent of Rep. Clark that you are concerned about human rights, and that you request that she join the other 40+ Representatives to sign on as a co-sponsor.We are trying to recruit residents who live in her district, so if you know others who might be interested, please let them know.
