I know I’ve tried not to get too ‘political’ in our neighborhood list but I am feeling as I am sure many of you are — so fractured, agonized, and sad about the ‘state of the nation’ that I want to do what I can to encourage us all to talk with each other — not just lament but discuss ways of responding, things we can do to somehow reconnect. You may not all want to sign this letter to Katherine Clark, our House Representative in DC, but if you do, urging her to do what the Constitution expects of us, to do what makes sense, what NOT TO DO would just be WRONG, would you please add send me your name and address so I can attach it to the master letter and return that confirmation to me NOW, while you’re thinking of it. Just hit return, with your address (i.e. 77 Avon Hill St., Cambridge 02140) and, ASAP, it will be done. Attached is the letter asking Rep Clark to Impeach Trump. The plan is to gather as many signatures as possible by July 31st. Then in August to figure out a way to get this to Clark in person. It is the August recess and Clark will likely have a couple of "town" meetings with constituents. So we will see. Can you please send this to as many Clark constituents as you can?! If you can ask people who want to sign the letter to send you their name (exactly as they want it listed), address, and zip code. Then if you can send me this information (including yours), I will enter each name, address and zip onto the letter. I think its easiest to do it this way so I can have one master copy of the letter.
