But did you know that there will also be several non-binding questions? I've made assumptions about where Porter Square residents live and based on those assumption, there will be three additional questions on ballot: 1. Shall our State Senator vote to create legislation to regulate & tax marijuana as it does alchohol? 2. Shall our State Rep vote to propose a US constitutional amendment to affirm that corporations are not people and limits should be placed on political contributions and political spending? 3. Shall our State Senator vote in favor of resolutions to a) prevent cuts to SS, Medicare, Medicaid, VA benefits, housing , food and unemployment benefits, b) create job through government investments, c) put corporate tax loopholes, end offshore tax havens and raise tax on income over $250K and d) reduce military budget and bring troops home now? Just hoping to give you a few hours to consider these questions if you didn't already know they would be on your ballot.
