LWN Movie Night and Discussion Series- Tuesday, March 27th at 7PM

Living Well Network Movie Night and Discussion Series continues with the documentary, ²Black Gold² (PG). Location: Maud Morgan Arts Center, 20 Sacramento St., Cambridge. Date: Tuesday, March 27th at 7PM. Black Gold: Multinational coffee companies now rule our shopping malls and supermarkets and dominate the industry worth over $80 billion, making coffee the most valuable trading commodity in the world after oil. But while we continue to pay for our lattes and cappuccinos, the price paid to coffee farmers remains so low that many have been forced to abandon their coffee fields. Living Well Network, based on a grassroots, community development model, links seniors with people of all ages in a neighborhood-based social network.
