Cambridge Community Chorus, of which I am a member, is performing a Marathon bombing memorial concert tonight singing along with 4 other Boston area choruses tonight at 8 at Kresge Auditorium at MIT. Everyone is invited and donations are requested for the victims' families.

It will also be streamed live with instructions for tuning in below.

Important further announcements about the benefit concert tonight:

"The video stream of tonight's concert of the Brahms "German" Requiem in Kresge Auditorium at MIT by more than 400 singers from more than 7 Boston Area choruses to benefit the victims of the Boston Marathon Bombing should appear at:

There are still many details to arrange and test, and variables that may derail this effort, but I'm optimistic so far. If it becomes impossible to get the stream up and running, I will post a notice to that effect at the URL above.

People planning to view the stream should be sure to test in advance their ability to access the Ustream site and view other Ustream content in general. I believe an Adobe Flash Player Plug-in, or Ustream App is required to view Ustream content.

The actual video stream should go live between 7:30pm and 7:45pm and the concert is expected to begin at 8:00pm
