Hi Elizabeth I am very sorry to hear - and that you have experienced such a nasty thing done to your car. I do however find it hard to imagine - having lived here for 15 years that any of the neighbors that I can think of would have done that, no matter how short tempered people have gotten about this winter. On the other hand there have been cases of random vandalism like someone took a hood ornament from Kelly's car, so not to minimize what happened and it may have just been something like that. Elizabeth, I am sorry to have ignored your email in the mugging discussion. I too have been thinking about it, and have a hard time thinking anyone in the neighborhood did something like that. I suspect it is the same folks who riffle cars if they find them unlocked, and remove anything of value, and who pull up my plants and throw them in my yard. In any case, it is a rotten thing to happen to anyone.
