I'm Frank Morris, coordinator of NeighborMedia, the innovative citizen journalism project of Cambridge Community Television. I wanted to let you know about a couple of announcements and opportunities some of you and your neighbors may be interested in. 1. CCTV has re-launched NeighborMedia.org <http://NeighborMedia.org> , giving it a brand new look - now with more Cambridge news and information than ever before. One of the goals of NeighborMedia is to fill the news gap in Cambridge - providing content that mainstream media can't or won't cover. Please check out our new site to find hyper-local Cambridge news and stories you likely won't find elsewhere, along with headlines from some of your other favorite local news outlets. 2. NeighborMedia is looking to grow its team, both with volunteer reporters and guest contributors. Our team of reporters produce two written or one video piece per month. In exchange, they receive a free membership to CCTV, free unlimited classes at CCTV, and a platform with a global audience for spreading their message. (No professional journalism experience necessary - just a commitment to your community). Or if you can't make that commitment and would rather be a guest contributor, that would be great, too!
