Thanks, Jeff Dear Neighborhood Organization: The MBTA has just scheduled two hearings, one of them is here in Cambridge: MBTA 5-year Capital Investment Program Cambridge Senior Center, Central Square across from City Hall Tuesday Feb 25 @ 6 7:30pm You can view the MBTA capital plan <http://www.mbta.com/about_the_mbta/financials/?id=1052> here. This discussion is only about spending money on new equipment or buildingssee summary information attached. These two public meetings are in addition to the ones already held regarding the MassDOT 5-year Capital Plan <http://blog.mass.gov/transportation/massdot-highway/massdot-releases-five-y ear-investment-plan/> (which includes the MBTA Capital Plan), based on "The Way Forward" Transportation Report <http://www.massdot.state.ma.us/Portals/0/docs/infoCenter/docs_materials/The WayForward_Jan13.pdf> . A little confusing I realize. In addition, please browse the City of Cambridge¹s newly released ³Transit Strategic Plan Interim Report² which can be downloaded here: http://cambridgema.gov/transit.
