Want to learn more about the candidates for the School Committee? Join the Cambridge Family Information Network (www.cambridgefamilyinformationnetwork.com) for a School Committee Candidates' Forum. There are 6 incumbents running, along with 5 new candidates. All 11 candidates will be there. This is a pivotal time for the Cambridge schools. The District is in the process of creating 4 new middle schools for grades 6-8, which will open their doors next Sept. This is a major change to the way education is delivered in Cambridge and the implications will be felt from Junior Kindergarten through the high school. The event will be moderated by Monica Brady-Myerov, Senior Reporter and Assistant Managing Editor at WBUR, Boston's NPR station.
