Their entire building was purchased by an out of town landlord without the connections to the community that small property owners like you have, and they are facing eviction because they are low-income tenants. These women are employees of our City, have children in the public schools (some honors students at CRLS), and are either life long or longterm Cambridge residents. Their resumes and work records are impressive. Two and three bedroom units in our City are hard enough to come by, but for low income/Section 8 tenants, they face discrimination that makes it even harder.
