The first focus is on the Alewife/Fresh Pond Area. At this meeting, the climate change risks to this area will be recapped; the City¹s approach on climate change preparedness and resilience will be discussed; and attendees will be asked to react and contribute to the plan initiative. The two-part Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment is posted on the City website. Part 1 addresses the risks of increasing temperatures and precipitation. Part 2 addresses the risks of sea level rise and storm surges. The CCVA Part 2 summary report is available on the website; two technical reports will be posted soon.
