Cambridge PD CITYWIDE Alert Cambridge Police Investigate Harvard Street Shooting CITIZEN ALERT: Police Investigate Shooting on Harvard Street Victim sustained serious injuries CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – April 29, 2016 – At approximately 8:13 p.m., Cambridge Police received reports of gunshots in the area of Harvard and Cherry Street. Upon arrival, officers located spent shell casings and blood at the scene. In addition, a report was received from Cambridge Hospital that two male victims arrived at the hospital seeking treatment for gunshot injuries, with one of the victim sustaining serious gunshot injuries, and the second victim sustaining a non-life threatening gunshot injuries. Both victims were eventually conveyed to a Boston Hospital for further treatment. Detectives are actively investigating. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Cambridge Police Department at 617-349-3300.
