Re: Lincoln Way renovations Dear Neighbors; I wanted to let you know I met with a number of officials involved with the Lincoln Way renovations that are about to be undertaken. Some of you may have been notified about a meeting I am organizing for May 6th at 7pm to discuss how the city will work with the Cambridge Housing Authority to support and respond to concerns related to traffic and construction issues that may impact residents and the neighborhood. In my meeting I asked for several issues to be addressed prior to the community meeting as to provide our neighborhood with the most information and effective tools to manage any disruption that might be experienced due to the renovations. At this meeting we will receive a packet that will include a visual site map that overlays the timing of construction events, a contact person for the neighborhood to reach out to for any issues that arise during the renovations, and a regularly scheduled on-site meeting for residents to drop-in if they have issues, questions or concerns they would like to address with the General Contractor. For those of you who find the internet more convenient I have asked for a website to be set up to keep residents updated about the project. This website will also be a place where we can email questions and concerns. If you have any questions ahead of time that you would like addressed please feel free to email them to me before the meeting. I hope this is helpful and look forward to seeing you.
