Officials said the fire that began just before 3 p.m. on Berkshire Street left three to four people with minor injuries, including two police officers who were overcome by smoke. At least one residence has collapsed, and officials are working to find the cause and origin of the blaze. ³Fortunately it was daytime,² Cambridge Fire Chief Gerald Reardon said. ³People are awake, available, not sleeping.
