FW: Mass Ave Porter Square-Harvard Square Design Meeting Wednesday 22 June at the Baldwin School

Neighbors, On June 22nd there will be a meeting to present the draft recommendations for improvements to this stretch of Mass Ave. For more about this whole planning process go to <http://www2.cambridgema.gov/cdd/cp/zng/psq_cc/index.html> http://www2.cambridgema.gov/cdd/cp/zng/psq_cc/index.html. Please remember that this project doesn't involve major street redesign- maybe a bumpout here and there but they're not removing the median, redoing the roadbed or otherwise moving major pieces of curbing. However, there is a lot to be done with additional and improved crosswalks, additional bike parking, painted bike lanes, new lighting, many more (and healthier) trees/plantings, seating, art, historical markers, and such. I hope to see may of you there. Thanks.
