Hello Everyone - As you all may know, with the new redistricting, we now have a new state senator, Pat Jehlen of Somerville, as well as a new state representative, Marjorie Decker, who was recently elected to the seat that Alice Wolf held for many years. They both will be coming to Cambridge Cohousing to talk about legislative priorities and to hear your concerns.The original date of March 8th has been changed to March 15th due to a scheduling problem. Dear Neighbors I have a broken ankle & just got into a boot but am not capable of shoveling my driveway at 31 BVP. My son is ill & we have an important doctor's appmnt we need to leave for at 12:15. Does anyone own a snowblower & have time to clear our driveway by noon? Usually we shovel it but today not possible. Plse call Holly at 617-413-6980 thanks! I want to thank the many people who responded to my cry for help during the last storm: Margaret, Ruth,Tine, Liz, John and Sue who reached out and helped. John and Sue came and helped me shovel the whole driveway so I could get my son to Tufts Children's Hospital for his appointment. With a fractured ankle in a garbage bag and one of those Darth Veder boots, it was greatly appreciated having people pitch in. May I return the kindness any way I can.
