Neighbors, Hope you are all having a great Memorial Day Weekend! Now that summer is here (at least warm days), we should start planning a Buena Vista Social Club Block Party! We can block off the first block of Buena Vista (fire trucks excepted) and set up a party area. What dates will work for most of us (we will never get a date that works for everyone)? Please reply to this address with some suggested weekend dates. What time of day? Also, start thinking about who else to bring/invite. I don't have everybody's emails on Buena Vista Pk./Cambridge Terrace/Upland Rd. and those close by who are interested.. So you will have to help spread the word, or give me their emails. Of course, family/friends are welcome! Finally, let's make it easy, a potluck, with emphasis on things easy to fix/able to sit out for a while/easy to clean up. A couple of us could offer up grills, ice (and a big bucket), tables, chairs, music, (I know someone in the neighborhood who plays a pretty good guitar, bet there are others), kid's toys ..
