Volunteer for Recycling at a Festival Volunteering is a lot of fun because you get to enjoy the festival, make sure that recycling is happening, talk to people about doing the right thing and get a free t-shirt. Walk around the festival area to make sure recycling containers are set up correctly and are side-by-side with trash. Minimize bottles in the trash and trash in the recycling. Some events involve information tabling and working with kids. The festival recycling containers <http://www.cambridgema.gov/TheWorks/departments/recycle/festivals.html> work quite well to avoid contamination. Here's a list of the festivals in 2009.
